Gift Knits Part 2

I know this post is "late", but as you can tell, I've been knitting a lot. I just finished the blanket "Umaro" by Jared Flood (see the pattern page here: http://brooklyntweed.net/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=2_4&products_id=36 OR on ravelry of course) I used the recommended yarn, Lana Grande by Cascade, in the Ecru color. If I had been knitting it for myself, I would have probably gone with a bright color, but since this is a gift (act surprised when you open this. you know who you are!), I went with a elegant neutral. The blanket was fun to knit, and rather easy to memorize after the first few repeats.
